Skaftafell National Park

Skafafell national park lies on the southeast shore of Iceland. 
Here we have the highest mountain in Iceland “Hvannadalshnjúkur”
situated on the side of a crater in Vatnajökull glacier the largest one in Europe. The glaciers running down from Vatnajökull glacier are very close to the ring road and very easy to reach by car.



 



Landmannalaugar


This pearl of the interior is situated in a valley between colourful mountains at the dark edge of the rhyolite lava field Laugahraun.
Such a multiplicity of colours and shapes are not to be found in one other place in nature. This fact and the comfortable natural bath has made Landmannalaugar the most visited spot in the uninhabited
areas of Iceland.
